SERVICE HISTORY:
Matt has been with the Angel since the beginning, always showing an interest in ship's weapons and tactical. Since he was under 18, he had a choice of going cadet or enlisted. Matt chose to become an NCO and served his way up to Gunner's Mate First Class before entering the Enlisted Commissioning Program six months before his 18th birthday. Matt assumed the position of Chief Operations Officer on 18 November, 2000, the same day he received his commission as an Ensign after months of work toward that goal.
