POSITION:
Commanding Officer, 342nd Marine Strike Group
MEMBER STATUS: Active Provisional Officer
SERVICE HISTORY: Jim Cook was the instigator behind the formation of the Ark Angel as a pre-shuttle. His enthusiasm quickly recruited further members and set the vessel down the path to becoming an official Starfleet shuttle. Jim is the consummate Noncommissioned Officer (NCO), acting as mentor, teacher, and disciplinarian to the newer members of the vessel. Jim is a member of the Third Brigade Colour Guard and served as First Sergeant in the Ark Angel's Marine Unit. On 18 November, 2000 Cook was granted a direct acting commission to First Lieutenant and assumed command of the 342nd Marine Strike Group.
